WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Women's Issues is a story about small town scandal, seen through the eyes of a boy. Mrs. Montella is a daring women in 1969; she came to Kirkland from Toronto with her teacher husband, but they are said to be "swingers". The town gossips and whirls around her, but when Pierre Elliot Trudeau himself arrives in town, and is accosted by that outrageous woman, the jaws drop.
